F.J. LAMELA

Biography

Producer, composer and creator of atmospheres

My story with music began among keyboards, samplers and many hours of experimentation, searching from the very beginning for my own way of turning ideas into sound.

My first professional work came through Los 40 Principales, creating jingles for Nos vamos de marcha. This was followed by productions, remixes and projects such as DoubleDose and Uplifters, as well as collaborations with international labels. “K-Files”, released by Weekend Records and licensed by Warner, gained recognition on Berlin’s dance scene, while “Set Me Free Baby” remained number one in digital downloads for 11 weeks. As a remixer, “Antidote” reached the Top 5 in Time Unlimited’s international competition.

Music, picture and emotion

Over time, I expanded my work into another of my great passions: composing music to tell stories and create emotion through picture.

I have created music for film, short films, television, radio, advertising and corporate projects, working for companies such as Promovys, Hoteles Crown, Dunnes Stores and Ferroser. My music for short films has been recognised and awarded, as have works created for special events, including symphonies for the Fifth Centenary of Estepona, for which I also received distinctions and awards.

Today I continue to work as a composer, producer, arranger and sound engineer, collaborating with artists, bands, companies and audiovisual projects.

The tools and projects have changed, but my intention remains the same:

“Finding the sound each project needs.”
